This morning, I woke up in a panic. I was responsible for a bunch of stuff at work. People were after me because I lost it. I also had something important attached to my fingers. I should have turned them in but forgot. I woke up and thought that I have really ruined my life and will never get another job. I had to think about it. I looked at my hands and there were no attachments. I looked around and saw that I was home, not in another city. Maybe this was only a dream and people won't be hunting me down today. I felt so relieved. Do you ever have trouble trying to figure out if your dream really happened?

Do you remember them and does your heart beat faster because you feel like your world is over?

@amitkokiladitya Why do you think you have these dreams? Can you trace them back to something that happened in real-life?

Do you wake up in a panic and think the world is crashing in on you. Then, it takes time to figure out that it was only a dream and you are safe.

@Jessabuma I understand that. Sometimes I wake up more tired than I was when I went to bed.

Sometimes I am confused when I wake up, and it takes me a while to figure out the difference between the real things and the things that only happened in the dream. I had one dream that I especially remember. I dreamed that I overslept and missed my exam, then I woke up (still in my dream) and I discovered that I didn't oversleep and didn't miss my exam. At last I woke up and discovered that everything was a dream including the false awakening...

@akalinus I can imagine that situation - walking around without finding the right room and getting more and more nervous. I have never had that dream before an exam, it happens in other situations. It was a strange feeling to wake up in the dream. I thought that it was real, but when I really woke up I discovered that there was no exam.

@Porcospino I think it represents a failure in some area of life. I have that dream but have not been in school for many years.

I often have the missed exam dream. Only in mine, I am walking around the school and can't find the room until the test is over.

@LeaPea2417 I don't know how I can stay clear of messing up my life worse in real time but get into these horrible messes in my sleep.
