What makes you shake your head and sigh?

I played a gig with three mates at a slightly rough bar the other night. After our first set (which went well), I went outside for a smoke, and eavesdropped on the conversations among the patrons around me.
I heard four or five young half-drunk white guys at a circular table talking loud about their favorite guns. There were two pretty (to them, I'm sure) girls at the table listening intently. The guys were showing off how macho they were, and the girls were loving it. I do love my 1958 Remington bolt-action .22 rifle, but it's not something I'd want to talk about to impress girls. I just shook my head and sighed.
The other day, as I was driving to work, listening to KCBS news radio, a high-speed lane-splitting motorcyclist vroomed by me, just as the radio news reported that there was a motorcyclist down between the 3rd and 4th lanes (where lane-splitters mostly operate) on Highway 880, backing up traffic for miles. It's the same every morning. I just shook my head and sighed.
The Lefty Media going after Trump. FOX News still blaming Obama and Democrats for all of society's ills. People honking at each other on the roads when the miscommunication was their fault as much as the other's. People ignoring each other (often by pretending to be using their cell phones) and not saying hello on our sidewalks. Teens in the 'hood throwing their McDonalds wrappers and bags over their shoulders onto the sidewalk. I find myself shaking my head and sighing a lot.
Maybe I've just been around too long. Are there certain things you see but can't change--things that make you shake your head and sigh?

Of course, very often and I also roll my eyes and look toward the heavens.

@TheHorse around here walking the main drag with my cart and having to dodge drunken guys swerving from side to side on the sidewalk or huge unruly tourist crowds who cannot wait to get to the beach with poor grandma with a basket and chair dragging behind.

Do you know this song by Mose Allison? I love it! It's called "Your Mind is on Vacation and Your Mouth is Working Overtime."
1989. Italian TV. Mose Allison (1927-2016 vocal, piano). Bass & drums unknown (do you know?). Song written by Mose Allison. For Mose' bio, music, merchandise...

@TheHorse My brother can't carry on a conversation that doesn't involve trucks or any heavy equipment vehicles. If you begin a conversation about "worldly" things he brings it back to the subject of trucks, cars, and all of his other "toys". It's very annoying.
My daughter can't let go of the past. Every time we are together we have the same conversation over and over again.

@Starmaiden Oh, good examples. I have an acquaintance/friend who makes every conversation be about accounting. That's what he does. He cannot listen and learn. One time, some musician friends and I were discussing some nuances of music theory and composition after a gig. He butted in and after listening to about three words started pontificating (loud) about the accounting aspect of music. I walked away.

Someone had a phone call on the bus. He was so loud that everyone in the bus could hear it. Especially when he's arguing with someone on the phone. I will shake my head and sigh.
