INSIDEjob?

We had the local news that a local bank was robbed PhP 135 million last night at 8PM. The bank is situated near the cathedral and we usually pass by the bank every Sunday. The news on Facebook stated that at 8PM, several armed and uniformed robbers forcefully entered at the backdoor while the employees were counting the money.
The 3 security guards were not able to do anything, that is why there are wild guesses that the robbery is inside job. Maybe these guards left the backdoor open that was why the men entered the bank. 8PM is still a busy hour.
This is the third bank that was robbed. And yet the 1st 2 banks’ robberies are not yet resolved.
I hope the chief of police here in our city will do his job of catching the robbers. One of the bank too, refused to pay the stolen money since the manager said the money was not in the vault but outside. Do you accept his reason?
One netizen also said the remittances of the overseas workers sent through that bank are already gone up in smoke.
That is why I wish this crime will be solved ASAP.

@ridingbet I can understand you're not accepting that. However, I think the bank manager was clever in saying that because he was hoping the robbers weren't smart enough to know he was lying to them. In that way, he kept the money safe for his depositors and investors.

@just4him it could be. maybe he had companions who planned the robbery. as of now, there are no suspects yet.

the manager actually refused to accept the money of the depositors as insured because he said they are not kept in the vault. i will not accept that reason because it is stated in the bank policy that money is insured when deposited there, or in any other bank.
so far, the police are still facing a blank wall- no suspects yet.

there are CCTVs in front but none at the back door, apparently. it was noted there was a white van parked near the bank and nobody knew who the riders were

@simplfred well, i believe these criminals have no conscience at all, so it is useless for them to clean themselves with Safeguard (because they should have 'malinis ang konsensya')

@ridingbet It is really planned very well. Maybe the only chance that we will know the culprit if one of them is attack by his/her conscience.

yes, robbers are now high-tech as what we say here. the security guards here apparently are not trained on how to apprehend robbers in action.

That's just horrible. There's no limit to the greed of these people and what prompt them to steal in the first place.
I mean what's the point of hiring security guards if they're not going fight these robbers.

i agree with you. the latest is it is P14.5 million that was taken. there are news circulating around about the amount taken and we do not know how much was stolen. the security guards are brought in for questioning, under lie detector test

@ridingbet If those two managers ignored the policy they should be questioned by the police more. I am sure they are guilty.

i agree with you. one of the banks that was robbed few months ago had the manager refusing to pay the stolen money to the depositors because, same reason, money was not in the vault. there are bank rules and policies about insuring the money and i don't know why these 2 managers ignore that policy

yes that is true. the bank is located along a busy street so i wonder how these robbers are brave enough to put a stint like that.

@acelawrites yes i agree with you. it could be because the president is also showing his 'bad side' that is why people follow him? just my thought.
