And Just WHY Wasn't This Headline News?

Every time there's a catastrophe it's headline news. Yesterday (7/31), however, there was a miracle...and you have to look hard to find news reports about it. An airplane in Mexico crashed just after takeoff in Durango. One hundred and three people were aboard the plane. One hundred and three people survived. That's right. A plane crashed and burned...and no one died. Anne Murray had a song back in the 80s that said, "We sure could use a little good news today." This is so refreshing that it should be 24/7 coverage, if for no other reason than to give us a break from the stupidity of day-to-day garbage. Here's the story:
An Aeromexico flight carrying 103 people crashed just after taking off from an airport in northern Mexico, forcing passengers to escape via the emergency slides before the aircraft went up in flames. No one died.

I heard about it on radio news yesterday and did see on AOL this morning. But I also wondered why the story was not getting more coverage. If it was just taking off, it was full of fuel. It's remarkable that it did not explode on impact.

I only saw a brief mention of this too. You are right...makes you wonder why it didn't get more attention. It's a miracle that those people survived

It's not a political story so the mass media aren't very interested.

I think that's the crux of it: Democrats can't blame Republicans, and Republicans can't blame Democrats, so let's leave the story alone.

Just saw this story. Behind the miracle is a Reverand and prayers to God.
