Close shave from an accident!!!

You can see the condition of our kitchen hobs in the picture. Mom was about to cook a meal then a sudden burst happened inside and then there are these cracks formed all around.No harms though. Last month or so, we contacted the repairmen for servicing the burners, he warned us that the condition is bad and cannot be repaired fully. We didn't listen and now we have this. Luckily we have our old gas stove for our immediate rescue but only one burner of it is working.Ordered a new cooktop from a local distributor.The hob was auto ignition enabled but had always been difficult to maintain.

Lpg gas tank stoves are dangerous so we already shifted to induction cooking but still maintain a gas stove just for back up incase of power outage.

The important thing is that no one got hurt. I hope you solve that problem soon because the next time there may be a fire or injuries.

@Sojourn In my neighborhood, similar accident took place around six months back. The lady in the kitchen got injured in the accident.
