Do you also automatically wake up early on weekends when you need not do it, but is so sluggish and could not wake up so early on weekdays? I have to use an alarm clock to wake me up at 4:45 .m. on weekdays. It is really hard to get up because I still feel so sleepy. But I have to, because my son would be late for work if I did not cook his breakfast. He leaves so early for work. But on weekends, I wonder why I automatically wakes up so early! Could it be because am so excited about the weekend or it just became a habit?

I'm the same as you. I think it becomes a habit.

Expecting something nice and pleasant would always make me wake up early. I wake up early when there are field trips and outings since I was young but sluggish on ordinary days, think it's the same reason for a lot of people

It is true! When we are excited, we could hardly sleep or we wake up so early!

This happened to me a lot before my daughter was born, but now I got used to waking up early any day of the week. On certain days of the week, I go to sleep very late and wake up at sunrise. The animals I have at home, have become accustomed to the schedule that I wake up every day.

So your animals will also wake you up; maybe they are already hungry.

It is because waking up at that time has become a habit. We wake up at 5 a.m. most of the time, I do not need an alarm.

I can totally relate. It is because we dread going to work.
