Good Wednesday morning to all, how was your night from this side of the planet?
I didn't go to my colleague's house at 5pm because I was alone at home; besides it rained so hard. I messaged Miss Cata if they went but she responded nobody among the colleagues went.
I messaged Miss FCT about that and she acknowledged that it is true nobody went. I was therefore expressing my feelings on who will eat the dishes she prepared for her brother's birthday.
Of course she should understand that there was a 'force majeure' that was why the celebration was not successful.
Translation of message to English language:
11:00 Monday
FCT: Alley E mam. Yes Cata said.
10:51, Tuesday
me: Fats, sorry i cannot go later at 5PM, nobody will man the house, Manang has some errands. if she comes home before 5, i can go. thanks
19:03
FCT: okay, but nobody came among the CI's (clinical instructors)
me: haa? the rain was so heavy. Manang arrived and it was raining. Cata messaged and said they did not go too.

@rakski cough and colds are there to be taken in by those with lowered resistance to respiratory illnesses

I think she must feel depressed for that. Is the language of the screenshot above the Philippine language?

@SIMPLYD i don't think so, because the 15th is still next week. i presume the food is already consumed today

i think the celebration pushed through even if we, her colleagues, did not attend. she has the staff nurses and supervisors celebrating the birthday of her brother.

@LadyDuck yes she had, but she wanted us her colleagues to be there because we have not seen each other now for 2-3 months.

of course there were guests. her brother works as a nursing aide in the hospital where my colleague works as a nurse-supervisor. even though we, her colleagues in the academe, were not able to go, her co-staff nurses and coworkers of her brother, went to their house for the birthday celebration despite the rains.

yes it was. the brother who she wanted to celebrate with is sick of chronic kidney disease and is always on hemodialysis.

my colleague has a big refrigerator, but i think all the food prepared were served for the nurses of the hospital she is a supervisor at; her brother might have also brought some for his coworkers.
