I don't think I will be mowing today

It was foggy and cloudy when Princess and I got up. Later we had a nice drizzly rain. Gently falling. You could barely see it. Now we have quite a bit of rain falling. The tree across the street is vigorously waving its branches. However there is no thunder or lightening. I am glad I got the main part of the front mowed yesterday, and I put the mower away. Our plans for today include a quick run to the school where I will work tomorrow, so I know how much travel time to allow and exactly where to park.. Lunch is ready already. Bob had purchased some andouile sausage, wanting to try it, and I had frozen some okra. So the sausage was browned, okra and diced tomatoes were added. We were on the receiving end of quite a few red beans and some rice. So. . . red beans and rice, with cajun seasoning is in the crockpot, ready to have the sausage and okra on the side. I guess I will need to make a salad. I am going to harvest some basil and other herbs after the rain stops. Cheers to tasty food. My lawn is going to overtake me if I am not careful.
