Water Everywhere

I can't begin to describe to you how scary it was.
I think the most scary part was when I was screaming that we couldn't drive up the gorge, that we should have never found ourselves driving down it.
I told them that it was dangerous, that it wasn't any kind of a shortcut, and that we would find ourselves stuck. Of course the person didn't listen.
Of course we got stuck.
The rock face was just too steep, the traction on the tires too weak, and honestly I don't know how we even stayed on it as long as we did.
It was a wonder we didn't find ourselves flipping over.
I'm just glad it's over.
To think, that was only part of my dream

I am glad of that too. There was so much more to the dream than this. I ended up plunging into the water whilst on a bridge as well. It was terrifying.

@rakski I am just glad it didn't come true. Though I have dreamt so much about similar things,it makes me wonder...

Talk about the line from the "Rambo" movies which is "Your worst nightmare."

It was a nightmare, but it wasn't at the same time.
Scary things happened, but I didn't wake up feeling scared.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have had nightmares like driving down on the Lakeview section of New Orleans going to an endless road.

@Deepizzaguy I've had plenty of nightmares involving roads. This one just didn't wake me up in a fright.
I've had nightmares where I am on a road and have no idea where I am, only to find out that I've somehow made it to Mexico.

Indeed, your story was really heart stopping and it just ended to be a dream.
At least it ended that you were safe and sound. What is bad if your dream had been a bit naughtier and the opposite happened that would be more stressing to you when you woke up.

@ScribbledAdNauseum wow a vivid dream you have to remember all those details about your dream. I do dream but the story is always incomplete as I forget some details of it.

What I posted here wasn't even the entirety of the dream. It started with me being followed / chased. I wasn't being chased in the literal sense, but I felt endangered. The dream ended and when I woke up? I didn't feel frightened. It was a scary dream, but not a nightmare.
I was cold when I woke up (the fan was too cool on my skin) and so I think that attributed to the water parts of the dream.

@rsa101 I don't always remember all of my dreams either.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I had a nightmare last night. It wasn't what I wanted. I share it later. For me, it is better to enjoy being in a dreamland with joy and happiness.

@Shavkat I agree there, it's much more pleasant to dream of nice things.
Like the beauty of nature, or doing things you love.

I like dreams that seem real, but not always. Like last night? I had a dream I was in a mansion. That seemed so real, and I loved that.

A lot of my dreams with water and cars usually end with me in the water somehow. I've had a lot of dreams about driving and about roads, but if it involves water, I know I'm going to end up in it.
This post doesn't even begin to explain the entirety of the dream.

@LadyDuck I certainly hope that never happens. Just like I hope I never end up in the water with a car. Though each time, I end up being safe.
