I loved Charlie as a kid and still enjoy watching the Thanksgiving special every year. He is the main character of the Peanuts comic strip. A sort of a loser who turns out to be a leader most of the time. He is always trying to figure out why people are nice to him and why life is the way it is. I enjoy Schroeder, the piano playing character, and Lucy who was the bossy one in the group. And, of course, Snoopy and Woodstock the dog and the tiny yellow bird.
So innocent and cute.

Of all the cartoons (comic strips) I think Charlie Brown was the one I was the least drawn to. I think my favourite was For Better or Worse, by Lynn Johnson

It wasn't a holiday without watching the specials. I did not read the strip very much, and wasn't there a regular Charlie Brown cartoon?

I don't think I have ever seen the Charlie Brown specials, I know who he is and all the other characters, but did not watch it. I am too old I think to have watched it as a child.

I watched that a lot when my kids were little and will probably do the same when I have grandkids but I stay away from cartoon shows generally my husband watches enough of those for both of us.
