Yesterday, Monday, my son (and I) went to school. My son’s free day is Monday but he has to be in school to do his students’ grades, and at the same time, make his lesson plans. When he arrived home last night at 6:15PM, he told me he is sniffling. I gave him a capsule of Chlorpheniramine Maleate (Sinutabs) so he will be relieved of stuffy nose. This morning, he had his bath. He let me touch his neck to feel if he has fever. He does not have, but I still gave him another capsule. I also asked him how does he take a bath; if he pours the cool water direct to his head. He said he does that. I gave my opinion that he should start wetting his feet first, then ascend to his knees, legs, abdomen, face, then to his head. The warm temperature in his feet should feel the cool water and the heat should come out from down. The cool water should cause the blood vessels to constrict, and he should get used to the temperature of the water in his body. I do that too. I hope his sniffling will stop. He has work tomorrow.

I never use cold water to shower, always warm water and I go under the shower so that I get all wet almost at the same time. I use cooler water to remove the soap from my body.

@dya80dya Cold water is not very well for our body. Warm water is better, at most we can use cold water for a very short time just before the end.

the cool water is not that cool like coming from the fridge. it is just cool as compared to the warm water when the faucet is just opened at daytime.

I miss being able to take baths. I can't get in and out of a bathtub anymore without help from someone. But hope that this helps to relax his some so he starts feeling a little better

I am sniffling too since yesterday. Maybe it is the weather. My throat was itchy last night.

my son says he cannot go to school tomorrow, so i advised him to send a text message to subject area head, so this SAH will inform their principal about my son's absence tomorrow.
