Animal Crackers

Remember Barnum's Animal Cookies? They've been consumed by kids for over 100 years. Well, PETA(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is trying to get them taken off the market due to the exploitation of animals in circuses. I can see where the actual name of the snack crackers could cause some negativity in animal lovers but I think that this goes too far. The box they come in does show animals in a cage. But, it also tells what each animal is and is a great learning tool. What is your take on this?

Everything P.E.T.A. does is insane. If they get their way no one will be able to own animals.

@celticeagle I do not remember looking at the box. I did eat them. I can see why animal lovers would be offended since they have animals in cages. We do not have them now.

Next it will be the zoos will be targeted. Many in the zoos can't be back in the wild's and some are born while in there. I wonder if they will fight to change the shape so we aren't eating lions and tigers and zebras.
