I do not Live Here Alone

I thought I lived here alone. I found out that I don't. A bank keeps calling and insisting that a Mr. Gomez lives here. I have not seen him, must be hiding from the bank. Another person told the bank that he lives here with a woman. I have not seen her either. I still remember the time that a social service worker from another county called and said I was hiding three children. The police were coming for me. Do you ever get calls for people you have never seen living at your house?

@akalinus Our telephone number is not listed, we asked to keep it private, impossible to find it.

@LadyDuck Ours is mostly for junk. I have a private cell phone that I only give the number for to friends and relatives.

It is because I do Swagbucks. Any time I do an offer, they blow up my email and phone.

I did get some phone calls that were wrong numbers or for previous owners of the phone number but no one is yet to call about another person living here. I do hear some strange noises at night once in a while. I wonder who is making them?

Maybe Mr. Lopez gets around. Maybe he is hiding at your place too.

@1hopefulman I might as well. There are too many people here that speak it.

Yes, I am often called by people who wrongly dial telephone numbers.

@akalinus It could be that the person presses the button randomly and happens to be your number.

I can understand that but not why they give my phone number to creditors.

Yes, and it should be easy to look up and see that it is my number. Of course, Mr. Gomez could still be living here, sleeping under my kitchen table. And the woman, are they married?

My car warranty is about to expire. Hurry, pay up today. Right, my car is eleven years old.

@Spontaneo We get these notices for cars that we don't own anymore and old cars are not under warranty anyway. They just want you to pay. If you have no money they will take payments. It is just another scam in a long line of scams.
