What I found interesting about Amazon Associates sales

I signed up for Amazon Associates years ago to try to generate some online income. What I have found interesting and at times weird is that I've gotten plenty of Amazon sales that were not for products I ever linked to or thought of linking to. But that is one thing I love about Amazon Associates. As long as customers get to Amazon through any of your special Amazon product links, no matter what they choose to buy, if it's within 24 hours, you earn, whether it's something you advertised or not. Of course, if they manage to buy something that costs a penny, as happened in my case I think twice, you earn a big fat zero. I wish there was a way of knowing what link customers clicked on to get to Amazon and buy their stuff, especially when they end up buying what I never advertised.

When I was writing on Squidoo, I did extremely well with Amazon as we were allowed to put links to their products. I liked that fact too : rule of 24 hours. Good luck for more sales.
