What is the prime time on TV in your country?

In my country prime time depends whether it is national TV or cable TV.
Our national channels start their prime time after the news. And news are at 9pm. So it was after that that prime time shows started.
It was at that time, decades ago, that we watched Dark Shadows with my husband while our children hated us for sending them to bed.
It was at 10 pm that we watched Upstairs, Downstairs, a wonderful serial by the BBC.
Do you remember special shows at prime time? Do you remember the time of your favorite shows?

Prime time is considered between 8 and 11 pm and 7 and 10 pm in the Midwest.

News here are at 9 pm. At 7:30 pm, there´s not many people at home.

@LadyDuck It is not like that here. Maybe it has to do with the climate. The lowest temperature here is at dawn and not many people have central heating and certainly not public transportation. In this city, workers don´t have cars to take to their jobs.

@marguicha People stops working at 5 p.m. in banks and public offices, most other workers at 6 p.m. They start working a lot earlier in the morning that other countries, many offices start at 7 a.m.

Prime time here is only for local tv and prime time is after the news too which I think ends at 8pm coz I don't watch local channels.

Yes, when I was a teenager, the show that came on at Prime Time right after the News that I had to see, was "Little House on the Prairie".

Primetime is around 7 PM onwards. But I don't watch TV anymore. I would rather watch some chick flicks on Netflix than spend my time in front of the TV.
