Rolled Oats in Coffee

Have you tried putting your oatmeal in your big coffee mug? I always do it to have an instant breakfast! I am using a big coffee mug, just like a soup mug, then have my sugarless coffee plus a small amount of rolled oats, and after a few minutes, it's done! The habit was just a reminiscent of the practice we had when we were young. My parents will have coffee then add pounded glutinous rice in it; we call it in the vernacular "pinipig." So we had instant breakfast cereal with coffee flavor. It tasted so nice! Do you also experiment with your morning cereals?

It is usually done; but I put it in coffee to have a different taste.

I drink my coffee in a coffee cup and we never have cereals for breakfast, most of the time toasted bread with a bit of butter and jelly, or soft cheese.

Yours is a nice breakfast too! Here, many people eat rice with egg or dried fish even for breakfast.

@acelawrites Rice is not something we eat a lot in our country and eggs and fish are for lunch.

Not really. I do put fresh fruit and sugar on it from time to time.

Fresh fruit is nice, but I do not like to use sugar in it.
