I *might* be able to squeeze in one more trip to the thrift store before I have exhausted everything I can sell them. The rest of the DVDs are still in a hard place to get to, and I am really not worried about it as they are "out of sight, out of mind." Thrift Store Haul Black Lake By Johanna Lane $2.00 Irish Folk Tales - Edited by Henry Glassie $5.00 The Thornbirds by Colleen McCullough $4.00 (A Mylot Recommendation) Other book store A Man In A Kilt by Sandy Blair $2.00 Steal Away by Linda Hall $1.00 The Fool's Tale by Nicole Galland $4.00 I'll be expanding on this other book store in another post. At the dollar tree I bought brown sugar and another glass jar.

They look like good books. I'm glad dollar tree had brown sugar. We didn't have any yesterday when I looked but we probably got some on the truck today. I haven't talked to anyone at the store.

I was going to get some olive oil they had but decided against it. I have some here, and I might use a different oil for the purpose of the sugar scrub. I found another type of jar that i like and I've asked a friend her opinion on which she liked better. I might order a case of those instead of the other.

@thislittlepennyearns I am sure it would work for the purposes of a "carrier oil" in a beauty product. I might end up going back and getting it. I saw some of their storage bins and thought that they were cute. I also saw those "grow a wash rag" things. I think those were around in the early 90's when I was a kid.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Here soon I am going to order a case of the fabric storage bins for moving and using at the new house. I've never used the Olive oil from the store. At least not that I remember.

Ooh nice. I jist went to the thrift store near me to look for good books and came up empty handed. Which rarely happens. Oh well.

Oh well, maybe you'll luck out another day. I was thinking of going to the big goodwill as it's sort of, in a long about way, between the thrift store I go to, and the used book store I went to today. I might just use my mylot earnings one month and have a "haul" of books. I've got a shelf I Want to fill full of them.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I love that. I still have about 10 books on my shelf so I am not in dire straights. But i get what you mean about loving to have a lot.

@maezee I will eventually be sharing a picture, but it might be awhile until I get to that point. I guess I could take a picture that blocks out the mess.. Hmm, maybe later.

I read The Thornbirds a long time ago and have seen the mini-series too. Loved Richard Chamberlain in the series

The Thornbirds is one of those books that I think I might have read some of, but am not sure. I'll eventually read it again.

I am sure I have heard of it before, and probably seen some of the mini series. I thought I had seen the book at the thrift store, and I was right.
