Tipping My Hat To This Honest Seller

It was really confusing, the new 5-peso looks the same with 10-peso of Philippine coin denomination. Many people are actually complaining of the silver colored coins.
So when I bought bottled mineral cost 15 pesos and gave three coins, I didn't notice the other coin is 10-peso.
I left the store.
But the honest seller called my attention and said "too much" of what I paid.
Very honest man abot 50 years old. I said 'thank you' because its the proper way of appreciation to him.
Too many honest people these days. Just yesterday a tricycle driver returned a wallet with hefty cash in it.
May their tribes multiply.

Those new coins are confusing, who ever thought of it is stupid
The gold 5 pesos and bi-metal 10 was fine, why fix something that's not broke?

i'm annoyed that the new coins are all silver because you have to look at each coin closely to know the denomination.
for now, i put aside all the new coins except the 1 peso and the 10 pesos because they're the most similar to the current ones.

Its really annoying. Those consultants and proponents of this change in coins didn't realize most people are rushing that sometimes they don't carefully see the denomination of the coin.

@ilocosboy i have coins from Kuwait and other European bills, my son from Hong Kong, but the coins i am collecting are the latest coins of our monetary unit, in preparation when the old coins will be obsolete or demonetized.

I will have to dig the cup with coins we got from our travelling days to see the coins from your country...
(I got robbed by shopkeepers often, most often because I had little kiddies with me and couldn't afford the time or energy to argue to get some 20cents back. But I got mad however.)

Oh that's great, Manila is the center for comnerce, trade and government in the Philippines. Thickly populated place. Ours is up north and not yet congested.

@ilocosboy not collector really, just that after every trips, we just dumped all the coins from this or that country into a pile. Sometimes we remembered to give away to charity, but often, we forgot. (We went to your country a couple of times, Manila mainly.)

I don't know but everytime Philippines have a new President, the currency changes. While US have the same currency for centuries. I might have got annoyed too if I still live there.

That's true and you can think they are always looking attention for popularity. I don't know why they always want their name printed in coins and paper bills.

It's good; I also read about a tricycle driver who returned the laptop left by a student in his tricycle. Such a good man!

@ilocosboy Is it true that there's a new 500 peso bill with a smiling Cory Aquino beside Ninoy Aquino on it?
