My 20 favorite Kenny Chesney Songs in no particular order. #1: Flora-Bama

A few days ago I posted a discussion and included a Kenny Chesney music video as a part of that discussion, after talking to a fellow Chesney fan about his music I got the idea to do a "series" of sorts featuring my favorite KC songs. However, there is no way I could limit the series to just ten songs. I am too much of a fan, and his catalog of music is too long for me to do so. So I have decided to make this a little bit of a longer series, with twenty songs. I know country music isn't for everyone, but with each of Chesney's albums comes a slightly different sound. He has evolved from a super twangy curly haired "kid" to a more refined sound. A lot of his newer music features heavily on the "island" vibe that he surrounds his life with. There is a little bit of everything in between as well. Even if you aren't a fan, give these songs a listen, and listen to the lyrics. There are a lot of wonderful lyrics in this man's music. So without further ado, here is song number one on this list. It's "Flora-Bama" which is a song that got a lot of play down here, especially on the Pensacola country station when I lived there. There is a bar on the Florida/Alabama line that is super popular and has a great story. This song is written about that bar. I think part of the reason I love this song is because it's about a place I have seen/been to and know about. So it makes it a little more real to me. Regardless, its a good song.
