Starting School

My daughter will be starting kindergarten this month, and I'm excited and happy for her because she really wants to go to school. I am also a little nervous, and sad because I will miss her during the day.
Does anyone else have kids who are starting school?

Best wishes for your daughter's school year. The kids here in my County in Georgia started school on August 1st, the earliest ever!

I just commented on your post on one of my discussions, asking how old your daughter is! Well, now I know! haha
I wish you the best of luck as your daughter enters kindergarten! It's probably more nerve-wrenching for parents than it is for the kids!

Both my girls are grown up one is married and the other dating. Enjoy these years they go fast.
It's nice that she's excited to go to school I hope she can keep that enthusiasm. Will she go for just partial days or the whole day long?

No children of my own, but a few of the children I work with are starting kindergarten. They are ready, as they have definitely outgrown preschool !
