Final Destination and Ferris Wheel

A story was featured in a tv show last night about a guy getting scalped when his long hair got caught while riding a ferris wheel. It was horrific, he almost died too. He was interviewed a month later and he said a few hours before the incident, he had a nightmare; there was a boy who asked him to ride the ferris wheel with him. Anyway, upon looking it up, this was not the first time a scalping incident happened... a girl in the US and India also had a similar tragedy too. Don't rides have an emergency button that can make the ride stop at once? link to the full story below:

That would be awful, I had a friend once who worked in a printing shop and her hair got caught in one of the machines and it tore the whole side of her hair and scalp off. So much pain and blood

@lady1993 I haven't talked to her for quite some time now, last time I did she was doing ok. She had to have her scalp stretched so they could try and connect the hair that was left together. It was a painful process for her.

@lady1993 I think having a button to stop the ride would be more dangerous.

@lady1993 That is horrible what happened and it happened again. Maybe since that ride is no good then maybe they should stop it.

Just like the movie The Final Destination? That's scary. That is why I don't like to ride in a Ferris wheel or any rides anymore.
