Talk about having lady luck on your side. An unidentified female gambler from Hawthorne New Jersey spent $10 dollars on the Wheel of Fortune Sapphire Gold slot machine that paid her $2,481,970.75 at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City New Jersey on Saturday. I do not know what will be the final payment of her good fortune since she will have to pay taxes on her gambling winnings. I also do not know what are the odds of any gambler winning a jackpot on their first attempt to play any gambling game. The best advice that other gamblers have given the lady from Hawthorne is to enjoy her good fortune and never come back to that casino ever again.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about having money I didn't "earn."

@TheHorse I know a lot of people who are against gambling have said that the money won in a lottery or gambling is money that was taken from the other people who threw their money away.

That is true that over $2 million dollars is not chump change.

Sh is really a very lucky person. I think the advice given to her by other gamblers is very good.

Yeppers. Hope it's not "the worst thing that ever happened to her." I could wind up tossing her an Altoid on a street corner.

I have heard the horror stories of lottery winners going broke in a few years.
