Do you read the “Terms and Conditions” in your Subscription?

When we subscribe or register to certain services, there are terms and conditions stipulated therein. We should agree and bind by that agreement so that we can proceed to our registration or application. By ticking the button, it is understood that we agreed. I was applying for a phone plan and after filling the necessary information, at later part—the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Every time I’m into this thing, I find it very lengthy and it takes time to read. Sometimes, I won’t read the terms at all or read some and skip others and clicked the button to advance the process. This time, I read it in full though. I do believe that we should read the terms stipulated therein to understand its full context. We’re just lazy to read most of the time or maybe I am just the one. How about you? Do you read or skip this process in your subscription?

How did you feel after reading the entire "Terms and Conditions". Perhaps the stipulations are homogeous among all Terms and Conditions of subscriptions. I guessed this because I don't read them as well.

@ZedSmart Hahaha I don't know but way back in college I used to read a lot. But now, I've lost interest. It seems all that matters is enjoying life and earning money. Is it just me?

@yoalldudes As we go along, there's some truth maybe in the latter of your comments.

Ha ha. I can't differentiate but most likely they are the same, except maybe for some depending on the services they are providing. It's all about the terms and conditions of use so if it's about communication services, there may be no difference at all. It makes me drowsy.

This is true. In my case this time, I underwent the whole process. I doubt I understood what was all there.

Not only lengthy but they're too tiny to read too.. So I don't but I have the staff explain them to me.

I just hope they will simplify some terms or make it a bit shorter or add some graphics to be more appealing because honestly, they are so boring so some subscriber or applicant simply escape those part.

@simplfred Legal terms are sometimes difficult to understand but at the end of the day, business is all that matters so things should be favorable to them.

Ha ha. We should spare time to read it next time. We always taken it for granted and when problems arises, only at this time we raised so many "whys" where in the first place, it was stipulated and already explained.
