I sold my Nintendo Wii console today. They only took $14.00 + change for it but it was just sitting there otherwise.
Went to the big goodwill today because they have more to offer than the other Goodwill stores in my area. This one had a few books that caught my eye, but none that made me want to make a purchase.
On the way home I felt like getting a pumpkin latte. We were going to go to starbucks but not everyone like starbucks and they are a little over priced. We went by sheetz instead where I got a pumpkin latte and some mozzarella cheese sticks to tide me over until dinner.
I suppose I should respond to all of my notifications here (now 44 of them), but don't really feel like it so we shall see.
What are your plans for today?

I like Sheetz much better than Starbucks.
I would have thought a Wii console would bring more than $14 but as you said...it's better than having it sit around

The Wii U and Nintendo Switch have been made since the Wii was brought out.
It's just not a newer system anymore.
My latte wasn't bad, but the pumpkin flavor left it about halfway through. Sheetz charges you for an extra shot of the pumpkin flavor and I wasn't wanting to pay for that.
I am thinking of buying a small coffee maker (maybe even look at goodwill) and just buying coffee and creamer.

I went to the store this morning. Posted a discussion about it a few minutes ago.
I paid fifteen bucks for my Wii. It came with one controller . so I'm not surprised they didn't give much for yours.

I've had two wii consoles. The one that I sold today cost me $100.00 a few years ago. That was probably a little over priced. I wonder now if I would have gotten more if I'd sold it to a game store I know of (not gamestop).
I hadn't thought of that until just now though.
Oh well.
I have some games that came from gamestop with the "used game" box. I should call and see if gamestop will take them back or maybe I can call the store I was just talking about. The thrift store will not take the games.
I suppose, if all else fails. there is ebay.

@thislittlepennyearns I remember you saying you needed to get a new one. I used to have two, the little rubber pieces that went with it, but that was with my old wii.

I wasn't expecting much from it, but atleast I got $14.00 out of it.
