Number One Bible Villain?

I've searched for the top 10 evil people in the bible and I can't believe in what I've seen in one site that Judas Iscariot made it to the top of the list. Is he really that bad? He didn't even kill anyone. His character is very interesting. If he is that bad why he was chosen to be one of Jesus disciple in the first place? Does the betrayal only his challenge to Jesus, to see how Jesus can easily evade the group of a soldier? Why he returned the thirty pieces of silver and finally surrender himself to the sky?
Do you believe that Judas Iscariot is the number one Bible Villain? Why or Why not?

I think the Gospels is a part of the Bible as a whole. I am not sure really, but that's all I know.

@simplfred Well, not for what I know. We Roman Catholics do not read the Bible, but we read the Gospels.

Never. Judas Iscariot as I believe was framed by Jesus to do exactly what he wanted to do. So no, he's no villain. Jesus wanted Judas to betray him.

@simplfred Judas was actually Jesus' favortie and most trusted disciples. That's why he knew Judas would not fail even if it means betraying him. And Jesus knew only Judas could carry that out even it also meant, being hated by everybody.

I would say that the top Bible villain would be Satan the Devil who is the originator of evil and who misleads so many into doing evil things.
Devil

@simplfred Yes, God created the angel that became a satan and a devil.
Just like Hitler's father fathered Adolf Hitler but is he responsible for what Hitler became and did?

Definitely, He was. I'm just wondering if Satan was created by God also?

I think the article misleads believers, the main enemy and villian in the bible is the DEVIL!
it's true even as we speak
Next in my list would be Adam and Eve, if they did not listen to the serpent or devil and ate the fruit of knowledge then we would still all be living prosperously in the Garden of Eden, the fruit of life might had also been given to us and we would all be immortals with perfect incorruptible bodies and in the presence of God

i don't think Judas is the number one villain. i believe it is the devil. but i won't discuss anymore about my comment. Judas is just the devil personified, because in the end, he repented and hanged himself.

Indeed, Judas character is very common in our society. Only but human, even Peter, the closest disciple of Jesus lied in order to save his life.

@simplfred that is true. i believe the villain is Beelzebub. you know the song of Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody.
"the Belzeebub has a devil put aside for me.... for me.... for meeeehhhh!"

One evil character indeed. Gladly, we have Moises.

I think Jesus told him to do this in order to have him on the cross. I don't think he is the number one bible villain.

He is definitely not but for Jesus to order him I believe it is better to think that it is the fate that calls unto Judas.
