Possible Super Typhoon.

Hello everyone.
I just read a message in my family group chat. According to weather bureau, the weather system monitoring a possible super typhoon in the making at the Pacific Ocean and is heading north of the Philippines and is expected inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday with an international name "Mangkhut". But right now, there is a current typhoon on the Northern most part of the Philippines and is to go out of PAR tomorrow.
I just hope that before it gets inside our country, that it will have less wind and gustiness.

Yes we all pray for that as well. Being hit by super typhoon is such a traumatic experience. I had been to a couple of years ago and it was really a very bad experience seeing everything flattened by it. Good thing our house was made of concrete so we’re pretty much stable. But the damage to our surroundings were very bad.
Typhoons usually grow stronger when at sea and only weakens when it landfalls. So if it’s still in open water it still is getting stronger and stronger.

@rakski We bikolanos are used to being hampered with it that is why we were prepared to. What we weren't prepared for was being hit on Christmas day and the destruction was really strong that many trees were toppled down because of that storm. Casualty was minimal I believe since many already volunteered to evacuate to higher grounds already.

The PAGASA said it hoax, there is typhoon but not to the extent like Yolanda. I also read this on abs cbn news.

My mother in law sent me an message this morning.. She lives in New Jersey. She asked about this typhoon so I had to check the news. It's said to make a landfall this coming weekend but in Luzon.
