Just got off the phone with my boss....

...who was returning a call I made yesterday about coming back to work. She still wanted me to get the Disability payment, and said it may still come, as the papers I got in the mail from the EDD (Disability people) were more of an explanation of how they calculated my Disability earnings than a denial of my claim. So, I may get that payment yet. In the meantime, my boss said, they were not going to need me for a while at the main child care center because they were really low on kids, and she had a friend (who also owns a childcare center) who needed help at her center, and my boss was thinking of sending someone from her other childcare center there to help out with her friend's childcare center, which means that I may substitute for the person she sent to her friend's center.... She also said that she had received papers from the EDD to confirm my disability claim, and she'd sent them in, so I may get the money yet. Oi. So, that's what's going on as far as my working. My boss thanked me for being willing to be "on hold", and that she might have things figured out about who she wants to go where by tomorrow afternoon, and she'd call me back then. So...yeah. In the meantime, as I told her, I've got plenty to do around here, which includes trying to sell things on eBay and work on my Etsy shop. Phew.
