Mueller needs to start dropping indictments

No one really knows what Special Counsel Robert Mueller has been up to aside from the people that he has already sent to jail, convicted, and gotten to agree to plea deals/flip on Trump. His office doesn't leak or respond to inquiries from the press. Obviously he and his team have been very busy over the past year, though, or the investigation would have concluded and he would have said "nope, no collusion and Trump is the most innocent man ever! Bye!" There are rumors of sealed indictments. There are ongoing grand juries. And today there was a HUGE rumor that Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General who oversees the Mueller investigation, either resigned or was headed to the White House to be fired. (There was an article published in the NY Times on Friday that presented Rosenstein in a not-so-great light) Neither of those things happened but it isn't a secret that Trump wants Rosenstein gone and there is a meeting set up between them for Thursday. Trump and his crew are so corrupt that Mueller could probably investigate them for 10 years and still keep turning up new crimes. The problem is that he doesn't have that much time. I'm sure that he already has plenty of information to prove that Trump, Don Jr., and Jared colluded with Russia. We've all seen evidence of obstruction of justice almost daily just on Trump's Twitter feed alone let alone whatever he's gotten behind the scenes. It is time for Mueller to act on what he already has. I am sure it is enough to land these "big fish". He may not catch every single one, but Mueller needs to drop the indictments and issue his report before Trump finally succeeds in terminating the investigation.
With Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein possibly on his way out, a fresh round of uncertainty has been injected into the Russia investigation, and it could take a while for things to settle down.

I've not watched much of the news today, mostly because I found myself calling Trump all sorts of names and getting myself worked up. I seriously doubt that the dems will be able to keep Kavanaugh out as well, and we all know that once Kavanaugh gets in - he will pardon Trump no matter what. I am so tired of the whitehouse being treated like one of Trump's businesses. I want Mueller to hurry up, but at the same time we need him to have a tightly sealed case.

I doubt Kavanaugh will make it. More and more keeps coming out about him. There are rumors that even Trump is ready to give up on him. I want Mueller to have a sealed case as well, but if he chases every single lead. . . this thing will go on for 20 years. His investigation is now in very serious peril.

@NJChicaa Oh, I know there is more and more that is coming out about Kavanaugh. He even went on Fox News with his wife, I've seen clips about that on MSNBC today. McConnell pretty much said today that their minds were already made up. Of course, he didn't come out and say it but he insinuated it. I'm eager to see what Rachel Maddow has to say about all of this today.

@ScribbledAdNauseum If Kavanaugh is the best the GOP can come up with, then that shows how disgusting the Republicans are.

He is taking his time building up a slow and methodical case, but honestly until the Dems get in in the election and hopefully take over the house, I think Trump himself will remain scot free. Others may fall around him though including his own children. Trump Junior and Ivanka have come close to indictment already. I think our best bet to get rid of the T man is for a small blue wave to come in, fingers crossed for that.

This Kavanaugh thing is blowing up in the GOP's face. They want Trump to dump him and go with someone else so it doesn't hurt their chances any further in November.

I'm frustrated by the pace, too, but I really want to Mueller to get enough to put the entire Trump crime family in jail and if that takes time, so be it. And there is an upside, every day Trump stays in office, the GOP becomes more crippled. It's far from a free lunch but in the end, the price we paid may be well worth it.

@NJChicaa The sooner the better. Several other states can file criminal charges, too, when and if it's necessary.

Southern District of New York is working on them too. They are all going to jail.
