My high dollar sucking machine

Here lately I have been making it a every morning routine of vacuuming my whole house because of Pigeon's shedding. Because of this, I have been using my Kirby vacuum cleaner a lot.
I had bought my Kirby about 2 years ago, to tell the truth about it, I really could have gotten by without it. I already own a Filterqueen vacuum cleaner. I bought it like most people do, by a door to door sales person coming to my house and most people that have dealt with any sales person knows how persuasive they are. He finally talked me into buying it by knocking the price in half.
To me the Kirby does have great suction, but so does the Filterqueen. Other then the suction it has, I find some of Kirby parts to look like their made out of cheap plastic. Not only that every-time I vacuum, the tubes that are connected together on the hoses comes apart. It does seem like as much as this cost they would have a better connection on them to keep this from happening. Also I think Kirby should have a lifetime warranty just like Filterqueen does, theirs is only for a year!
In the long run, I still would rather have my Filterqueen over the Kirby. I still have my Filterqueen, I told the man up front I wasn't trading it in.
Does anyone else that owns a Kirby have any problems, or know someone that does.

I've got a few more months to pay for it, then I think I'll give it to my daughter and just use my other one.

Most of the time I am uselessly cheap when it comes to these types of things to. To tell the truth the first one I bought was just because my niece was selling then and I was trying to help her out.

@vandana7 your so right about that, the only complaint I have so far is just with the hose coming apart so easy.

It's a vacuum that is not sold in stores, you can't buy the Filterqueen it a store ether. I think they do have their own dealership that you can go to though. But most of the time someone comes to your house and demonstrates how good the vacuum is and their the ones that sells it.
