Big No-No

Well, here I am once more at the palatial Super 8 in Wichita off Kellog Avenue, and while I have been here at least four times so far (maybe five) and was never completely dissatisfied with the hotel, it has not been one of my favorites either.
This time I got a room without a refrigerator, and for me that is a big no-no. I like to keep my beer cold for one without having to resort to using the ice machine. But sometimes I like to order a little extra food for dinner that I can eat while I am on the road the next day, saving a little bit of time not having to stop for something to eat for lunch...
And so I can take my medication.
I am of course traveling on business once more, thus my need to stay in a hotel and drive around all creation.
This big no-no is a strike for sure. All of my other stays I had a refrigerator. I am a Wyndham Diamond member and so I CAN simply put a note on my special requests when I book to say "prefers room with refrigerator" just like I sometimes note "no decaf, and one extra packet of regular coffee."
We will see what the next time around brings before we decide to switch to a different Wyndham branded hotel in Wichita.

I generally always get a refrigerator. So, this was a very rare thing. I assume the one that was in there broke and they did not have time to replace it. But considering there were other rooms, it probably would have been best to just not rent that room out until they got a new one in there. Just my two cents.

How long is your stay there? Can you ask to switch rooms maybe.

Usually if I am not satisfied with the room I write honest review to booking.com.
