I didn't even recognize this doll when I got her out of storage. I don't know if it was one I bought for Mom, or one she got somewhere else.
This doll, I think (as I don't have any papers for her) is from the "So Truly Real" Ashton Drake collection (she was similar to others when I looked her up). She has really soft vinyl skin and a warming heart that needs to be boiled (I would not microwave it, as there's a little metal disc in the heart) that can be inserted into a pocket in the doll's back. She's weighted, too, so when someone holds her with the warmed up heart in her I guess she's supposed to feel like a real baby.
Anyway, I'm glad someone is interested in her, even if I don't recognize her at all. Now I have to take photos of more of Mom's dolls (many of which I also don't know where they came from) to put up on eBay. Hopefully they will all go to good homes.

It's kind of neat what they do with dolls.
Hopefully, one of the seven watchers will bid, too.

I´m sorry that those beautiful old dolls sell for so little now. Fake Barbies are more expensive usually.
