We live on the 5th floor. There are occasional snake sightings in the garden and paths in the ground floor. My wife is scared they will climb to the 5th floor on the wall or pipes or the stairs. Can snakes actually do that? Have any of your had a snake tech the higher floors of an apartment or home?

I'm sorry to say but I think snakes can climb up most things. They can certainly climb trees as I've seen one doing that. I'm not sure if a 'collar' of some sort round a pipe might stop them but there would still be the problem of the walls and stairs.

i doubt they'd climb a wall,but a pipe wouldn't be much of a problem..
