Do You Have A Popular Month For Birthdays In Your Family?

For whatever reason, in my family we have a great deal of birthdays in November, with three of them falling on November 17th, in particular. Three out of my four grandparents were born in November, along with my mother, and one of my cousins. One of my step-grandparents was also born in November, and several friends. For my husband's little immediate family (himself, his ex-wife, and their son) they were all born in April, with birthdays only a few days apart. My father and I were born about three weeks apart, with me on January 30th, and him on February 18th. Has this happened in anyone else's family?

Funny you should say Sept. We only have one family birthday in September, and that's the 30th (today), my brother-in-law's birthday. Now years later, I have a friend who's little boy is on the 30th, and another friend who has a birthday on the 30th.

My father was born on his mother's birthday. My sons were born 4 years and 2 days apart, both in February. My mother-in-law and one of my aunts on my mother's side were born 1 day apart.

Yes. In fact, I did some research and wrote an article about it! I remember saying to some of my family that it was strange and mjst be unusual. My eldest son, the maths teacher in training, said that he and some friends had considered such statistics. He said it's not that uncommon at all. Well, anyway, we have a few birthdays dotted about between February and June but our birthday season begins in October when there are 3 birthdays (mine, my little sister's, and my little nephew's). November, our little niece and youngst granddaughter have the same birthday. December is my partner's sister and nephew. But our popular month is January with 6 birthdays (3 the same date). This year was particularly expensive as our youngest daughter turned 21 the day before eldest son turned 18! 2 days after son's birthday is my partner's dad's birthday. 4 days after that, we have 3 birthdays on the same day (my mum, partner's mum, and our middle niece). I daren't go further than our immediate family. We have a lot of cousins and other family. I'm not sure of most of their birthdays though.

Yeah... August. All three of my sisters were born in August, and when my brother got married, his bride also had an August birthday. And they were all blondes! Then I had to go and marry a guy whose birthday was also in August. I so want to have a garden party on my birthday, but not really practical in February. However, the sun always shines on my birthday.

August for both my family and my inlaws. I tease its because there is nothing better to do in November and December.

so you need to buy a lot of gifts this coming month. but the advantage of it is that they can have one big celebration instead.
