I finished reading Origin by Dan Brown. It is the fifth book of Robert Langdon book series.
Big Warning: there are a few sad parts and some violence.
In this book, Robert Langdon is asked to attend a event given by a former student named Edmond Kirsch. Edmond Kirsch is a computer scientist. He supposedly made a discovery about the origin of life itself and what humans will evolve to. Right when he was about to announce his discovery , Edmond was killed. The curator of the museum that hosted the event was there too. She told Langdon that she knew how to find out what Edmond was going to announce. (This is when my Kindle died. It drove me crazy because I wanted to know what he was going to announce. I got my new Kindle and found out.) The discovery wasn't actually new. (I saw the tv show One Strange Rock which said basically the same thing.) The second part of the discovery was what we evolve to which wasn't surprising. Of course technology will be our future.
I did like this book. I'm reading next Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon. It is part of my book to movie marathon which means once I finish this book I'll watch the movie.
