Kansas City first responders reunite with the baby they helped deliver

Talk about the real heroes in the Kansas City Missouri region who assisted first time parents Jonathan Riley and his wife Jacqueline Riley when the mom to be was going to give birth in her home on September 21. Jonathan made the call to the First Station One and American Medical Response on Monday since was unable to get to a local hospital since she was going to have a Caesarian section birth four days before the original plan for the birth. Cole Sammons who is one the medics who assisted Jacqueline give birth to her son Shay had problems when the umbilical cord was stuck in his neck and his head was inside the birth canal. The medics took 15 minutes to safely bring Shay into the world. Shay was taken to a local hospital and is great condition after he recovered from his health scare. Jacqueline thanked the first responders for saving her child from a tragic end at birth.
