Good morning.
From today, Navratri is beginning, which is a Hindu festival. Nava means nine and Ratri means night which makes it nine nights. 10 days and 9 nights. This festival basically symbolizes our devotion towards Goddess Durga, which is the energy of universe for us in 9 different forms. The main message this festival holds is "Victory of good over evil". We tend to have fasting during these days and consume food "Falahar" that is specifically to be eaten during this time. After 9 days we have celebration at 10th day to celebrate victory of Lord Rama over Ravana.
I wish you a very happy Navratri.
