Still do not have a wedding album... where can I do it myself?

On November 6th it will be two years since I got married. I still do not have a wedding album. Besides the fact that it was hard to select 85 photos (out of the 850 the photographer gave me) to use for the album I could not bring myself to spend $1000 on it. So, I never got one. I wonder if I can do the album myself for less. But I want it to be the same type of album that I would have gotten from my photographer. I heard Shutterfly can be used to make an album but I have no idea what kind of album it will be? I don't want printed pictures inserted into slots type of album... Any ideas or suggestions?
