The cool bath eventually relieved me of the headache that is why I was able to interact with you this day.
Later in the afternoon, I had continuous sneezing and dry cough. I do not blame the cold bath. I am blaming the erratic temperature we are experiencing now. It was hot then there were cold winds blowing.
I had to take a 600mg tablet of paracetamol. Right now I am in bed. I am wearing an old sweater to keep me warm too.
The sneezing stopped but it is cool now. I should be better tomorrow.

@ridingbet How come the sneeziñg is still with you. I din't ever experience sneezing that went for more than 2 hours.

now, the dry cough is becoming productive and i have runny nose. the sneezing is still present

@ridingbet I have never been able to use cold water to shower, even in summer I use lukewarm water.

yes, thank you. i thought the cold shower reduced the headache, which it did.
now that the climate is getting cold, i plan to have my bath with some hot water mixed with the tap water.

i think i have to take another tablet of paracetamol as a prophylactic measure for fever. no more sneezing, and now, i am sleepy.

I do hope you will not acquire a cold my friend.
You are right to do the things you are doing.
When I get like that, I too wrap up to sweat it out and take hot tea with fresh lemon and honey and chop up garlic and ginger and swallow it.
I sometimes use a Mentholatum (Vicks) rub onto chest.

i requested my sister to apply Vicks vaporub on my back as i applied too in my chest and neck. i really dislike having influenza because my taste buds are erratic. although i felt a bit warm, i took paracetamol and used my sweater because i want to sweat.
i am drinking liberal amounts of water to hydrate myself too.
