Nathan Donovan and his wife Madison were victims of an online scam last year when due to their desire to get a car loan of $7,000 dollars, they had to wire $600 dollars to get the money from the scam artist. Of course the scam artist took the money and never sent the $7,000 dollar loan to the Donovan family who live in Moncton New Brunswick. When Nathan who receives social assistance since Nathan had a back injury that prevented him from working and his wife needed an auto to drive to her work on the graveyard shift with two children, $600 dollars a month was not going to make it. Nathan had chats with the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) to beware of scam artists on a radio talk show. Denis LeBlanc who lives in Dieppe heard about the plight of Nathan and he contacted him that since he could not sell his 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, he would give to Nathan free of charge. When Nathan received the keys to the Volkswagen, Nathan was happy that an act of kindness came true. Nathan will have his dream of working again in a call center once again and not have to live on disability from now on. Rule of thumb that Nathan learned is not to allow dreams of getting out of trouble blind you when an offer that sounds too good to be usually is.

That is true since most of the time when a person gets scammed, the money is gone for good.

@Freewings That is true. The rule of thumb is when a fraud is committed, paybacks will come later.
