What's for Dinner Today?

It's always interesting finding out what other people are enjoying for their meals. I, at least, enjoy seeing those kind of posts. Do you?
Anyways....today has been another "cheat" day food wise. I need to be on a low carb diet for my health...but it's hard to stick to it around birthdays or holidays. I plan to get back on it Tuesday after my mom's and my husband's birthdays are over.
This morning I tried a chicken & waffle sandwich from our local gas station. Most think gas station food is gross, but this gas station has really good food that they make in their little kitchen area.
Then we were out shopping, so just picked up a donut as a lunch/snack.
For dinner we are going to have hamburgers and fries. Then to celebrate my mom's birthday there will be cake and ice cream.
The photo I am sharing is from the last time my son, my mom, and I went to Red Robin. It's not from Today, but I put it in the post since it is a photo of food.

Chicken and waffles are very good and dinner sounds good, just might have to stop by lol. We are having something simple, chill dogs cooked in a Crock-Pot.

The sandwich was good, thank you....and dinner will be nice as well. Chili dogs in a crock pot sound nice, I might have to make a low carb version next week!

@MommyOfEli2013 I wish I could do low carb but it seems like that kinda food just cost to much for my blood, and if you do make it tell me how it was.

@hillhjill Well the chili dog recipe doesn't cost too much, and actually we save money buying low carb. Yes if you want special things (like low carb tortillas, bread, etc) those cost more....but otherwise not really.
And I will post about it if I do make it! I'll share more about low carb foods once I get back eating that way

@CarolDM I only like fish, and then only tuna and salmon mostly. I am sorry you can't get your seafood fresh there...that's unfortunate!

Yes, it is....never tried it as a sandwich before, but it turned out really good.
I've never tried what you had for dinner, but I don't like shrimp.
Red Robin is great, but kind of pricey.

Yes, it is good food today....but soon all the delicious food (carbs) will go away!

I used to have every day be a cheat day, but I can't anymore. Mmm, fish and chips are one of my favorites!
