Hitting CRAZY bone_

Our stairway of 4 steps is blocked with a dumbbell so the dogs cannot go up to our rooms. But I often bump on the dumbbell of my crazy bone in my right pinky toe, that I scream. Anywhere if I am careless moving around, it is either I bump my crazy pinky toe, or the crazy bone in my elbow on to something hard. It is good because my skin that is hit does not produce reddish discoloration or hematoma. But if the pain is sometimes excruciating, I scream. Can you take the pain hitting your crazy bone, either elbow or pinky toe?

I always wear home shoes inside, I never hit my pinky toe. It happens that I hit my elbow, I do not scream.

@ridingbet Screaming does not make your pain better.

@LadyDuck that is right. if the bone is hit, then it is a sudden reflex to jerk and scream, and still the pain is not reduced.

Be careful. I have heard stories about bone cancer and it usually starts from a simple banging hard objects, slipping or falling down the stairs and the likes.

the best management is to massage the bumped area and not let discoloration happen. the nerve endings or pain receptors should be active; if we hit the crazy bone and not feel pain at all, there is a neurological problem in that area now.

@Janet357 maybe because when we accidentally hit it, we may show some signs of craziness? hahaha

@ridingbet We call it a funny bone here, and there's nothing funny about hitting it.

I didn't know there is a bone called crazy bone. And yes I shout (not scream ) when my feet fingers hit a very hard object.

yes there is a crazy bone. it is a colloquial word for a bone that has many pain receptors.

@ilocosboy it is just a 'salitang-kanto' because there is no such thing as a crazy bone.

@aureliah it is hard if our pinky toe turns bluish to violet-ish. blood might not flow through the veins

so, you have a low threshold of pain if you cannot bear a pain scale of 5/10?

elbow, oh yes, it seems an electricity is passing through the crazy bone, but more painful when the pinky toe is bumped with the corner of a table. "asasawww".

I haven't done so in a while, but it's manageable. I didn't know there was a crazy bone in the pinky toe.

i hope you won't experience hitting your pinky toe. the nerve endings there are so delicate that it can make one scream when the toe is accidentally hit.
