Trump is right to not care about Khashoggi?

Why does the West pretend we are going to do something about the murdered Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi? We did nothing when they attacked America on 911 and so why the hell would we will do anything now? Cheap oil dictates US foreign policy in the Kingdom and we bow to the House of Saud for it. Just as America had to attack Afghanistan to avoid holding Saudi Arabia to account the bodyguards and hit team sent to kill Khashoggi will also be expendable, off with their heads on their return to the Kingdom.
Trump is actually being rather realistic on this one and being honest in saying there is little they can do about it as arms deals and trade is at stake. The Turks are loving it but naive to take on the Saudis. There will be 911 style payback soon in Turkey.

.this can actually be easily solved. all the saudi royal family has to do is just pick a new prince to be next in line. the current is not the only son, or youngest or oldest. there is no birth order lineage to the throne, the successor is actually voted on by the royal family.

@thedevilinme It is indeed informative how we pick our battles, and whose cause we rally to.
