Harvest time Chez Horse!

I have three green beans on my balcony green bean plant! I'm going to harvest them and gobble them up.
I took a picture of one of the green beans, but I think I'll use a picture of our green bean harvest at the preschool this Summer. I'm not sure if I've used it before.
Kids love planting stuff, watering it, and harvesting it. I know I've said this before, but if you want your kids to love vegetables, simply have them grow them!

@TheHorse - shes got houseplants in the classroom. what gets her mad at the school is that the FFA teacher has said his classes can help with the garden. and the home ec teacher next door has said shed cook the veggies for them. i think it just needs final approval from the board. its put together, structure wise, but it still needs the dirt and seeds.

They do seem to like them more if they help with the gardens.

It's a very kind of you that you love plants and encourage children to watering and harvesting them. But in my flat due to lack of space planting is not possible.
