My brother-in-law just told me about a law in giving alms to the poor. He said that it is illegal now to give money to the poor because we are teaching them how to be irresponsible. I don't get why this law have been approved. What does it make me a criminal in giving to a needy? What if they are physically incapable? What are they going to do?

Really, as in, they passed this kind of law. Oh my, what on they were thinking? So what they'd do now, arrest all those beggars or arrest all the kind and helpful people.

Yes, I don't get why they have a lot of funds when it comes to wars, and when it comes to the poor they are too strict with them.

@hillhjill But it's true. If you will probably look into their priorities, the needy are always in the end of the line.

I never needed a law for that. I never give alms to beggars, specially those who are healthy.

I think they should do something to those who ask for alms. Especially now that it is near the holiday season. .

I like to believe that the law means beggars on the street.

What do you mean by that?

Because some of them are just abusing it and part of a syndicate. The kid doesn't get all the money, he or she only gets the commission from their BIG boss. Sadly, the real poor gets affected.
