@Michellekidwell yes, a bit urban because I am still a part of the city but rural at the same time because we are still no malls here in our place. still quiet...those swans were from one of the ponds.

@Michellekidwell Here in our neighborhood we sometimes see deer and often have visits from possums and raccoons.

I was at Mammoth Cave a few months ago, and as the sun was setting the deer overtook the parking lot. I must have seen two dozen deer (as opposed to about six cars).

We get them here too. We even have one that seems obsessed with my red doberman. She will stand and stare at her from across the road when Bunny is out in the fenced in yard.
