I know that there is at least one person who is searching for information on their family line. I got an email from FamilySearch.org that now you can check out the complete archive of records from Ellis Island. So, if you have ancestors who may have traveled here from other countries you can now check the Ellis Island Records for free on the Family Search site.

Do you know their full names? They may have them listed just by name and could do a control F I think it is and put the name in and search that way.

@celticeagle I know my grandparents' names. Both sets of ancestors are northern European and I am sure they came by way of Ellis Island.

I may check to see if any of my ancestors landed at Ellis Island. I know on my father's side they were all here by the mid 1600s, having come over from Britain in the early waves of Virginia settlement. It is my mother's father's side that may have landed at Ellis Island.
