I will find my iron, get out an ironing board.
It is time to go through my fabric stash and find things to do my projects with. Then I will press them all smooth so the cutting is accurate.
There will be two sewing machines set side by side. One with dark thread, one with light.
Sewing is a cozy thing and it brings back really good memories for me.
I am a little excited.
Today, we see the urologist, AGAIN. We also will pick up the free antenna.
Tomorrow we will mystery shop.
Wednesday that tool is due to arrive.
Plenty to keep busy with that is for sure.

We went to pick up a prescription the doc wants him on for two days. It was not filled. That is the pits.

@GardenGerty Just love when the pharmacy does that. Mom and Dad were using Walgreens the last year. They seemed very good there about getting even a new prescription filled fast

I used to make clothes, have not in a while. I want to make some quilts and home decor.

Do you have the sewing projects pretty much planned? I can mend, but never really learned to sew. My best friend used to make most of her clothes, and they were all beautiful. Her family saved a lot of moolah that way too. I think I was too lazy and impatient! I guess you find patience for what you really want to do and I used mine up learning guitar while my friend was sewing. Would love to see your projects, Heather.

@andriaperry suggested I might want to make and sell baby quilts. Right after that suggestion I found one on facebook I really liked and I ordered a special ruler to cut the pieces. Mostly all I have done for two or three years is mend and make curtains. I quit my job abruptly and am looking forward to doing some more creative things. I admire you for your guitar.

I've never cared to sew. But my mom does by hand, when its needed. Hope all went well at the appointment.
