At Home in Packers Country

I know you don't see me often right now, but I am here for a short time daily. I thought I would keep you up to date with what's going on here.
First, my book. Thread of Evidence is doing well. I think I've reached the halfway point. I should finish before the end of November.
Second, book review. My editor/publisher sent me a book to review for a fellow author. The book is called Falling Perfectly Without Trying. I'll let you know when this one comes out. It's a must-read. It's a short story. It took me a day to read. I'll tell you more about it when it's available.
Third, Bible Study group. I had to cancel this past week. Our church had a fundraiser half my group was preparing for. So, I've now had two weeks off from the study, but it will be back on track for this Friday. The good thing, I got the house cleaned - took less than half an hour, before I got the call from a group member telling me several people wouldn't be able to make it. I took the table down but left it so I can put it back up again on Friday without a lot of trouble, chairs too are ready to be put in place.
Fourth, Packers. You didn't think I would forget the home team, did you? After a bye week, the Packers played the Rams yesterday in one of the best matchups and cleanest games I've seen. Few penalties from both teams and both teams played well. I was impressed with the sportsmanship displayed by the Rams team member in the last play of the game. He could have made a touchdown and upped the score but chose not to, keeping the score at 29-27, their win.
That's it from Green Bay where the temps will reach a balmy 52 F today with partly cloudy skies and no rain.
Leaves are falling fast. Homeowners can't keep up with the raking as piles of leaves make their way to the curbs for city pickup.
I'm still swimming, though due to a colitis flare-up, I had to pass today, but hope to be back in the pool tomorrow. I must have been tired though, as I had a total sleep of 11 hours. I don't know the last time I slept so long.
I hope everyone is doing well. How was your weekend? Thanks for reading.

You're the only person I've seen post positives about the packers game yesterday. Everyone else has dragged them
.
Glad you're about halfway and almost done. Way to go.

@Courtlynn It was their best game, even though they lost. The offense and defense worked well together and did their job, even if they did lose.

You lost a tough one to the Rams. If that player did not fumble on the kickoff, Rogers might have gotten the team into field goal position to win the game.
Sorry about your colitis. Bad digestive issues are very debilitating.
