Remember that old saying for nutty people?
When I was a young teen I went with friends to church on Wednesday evenings. We all would take a break half way through and would all go outside. It would be just about dusk and we could see a huge group of bats go from the roof of the church over across the street to another building. Weird thing is that there was one white one. I thought that was odd.
I decided to do some research on white bats. Come to find out there is a Honduran White Bat and a White Winged Bat. That latter is a species of the Vampire Bat. The Honduran one has snow white to grayish furs and a amber or yellow ears and nose. I found a picture of the latter.

@celticeagle Churches seem to be great places for bets, especially Churches with inaccessible bell towers.

Yes, they seem to like being in dark places.

That one is adorable. Now I want one of those for a pet. Do you think it and my raptor (when I can get one) will get along??

Probably. Hope the raptor does have the bat for dinner though.
