Mike Bone awards Todd as their Dog Of The Year for his act of bravery

I really have to give it to Milk Bone for creating an award for dogs that show bravery to save the life of their owner. When Todd who at the time was a six month old Golden Retriever stood in the way when a rattlesnake attempted his owner Paula Godwin when they were taking a walk near their house in Arizona. Todd spent 12 hours at the veterinarian's office recovering from his snake bites. Milk Bone heard of the act of bravery from Paula when she posted her story on Facebook. Milk Bone senior brand manager Jonathan Rodgers believes that animals deserved to be rewarded for their acts of bravery. Todd won the first Milk Bone Dog Of The Year Award at the Streamy Awards in Beverly Hills California thanks to fans for voted for Todd saving his owner from an attack from a rattlesnake
